Your privacy and control over personal data is important to us. As part of our compliance with Meta’s Developer Platform Terms, this page explains how users can request deletion of their data associated with CityWide Digital applications.
How to Request Deletion of Your Data
You may request deletion of your data collected through our app by following one of these options:
1. Self-Service via Facebook or Instagram
Go to your Facebook account settings or Instagram app permissions.
Locate “CityWide Digital” in the list of connected apps and remove it.
Once removed, Meta will automatically send us a data deletion request linked to your account.
2. Direct Request to Our Team
Email us at: citywidedigitalcanada@gmail.com.
Include your Meta (Facebook or Instagram) user ID or the email linked to your account so we can identify your data.
What Happens After a Data Deletion Request?
Upon receiving a deletion request (via Meta or email), we will promptly delete all data associated with your app account, including any stored information, as required by Meta’s Platform Terms.developers.facebook+2
After deletion, you will receive a confirmation email and, if using Meta’s self-service, a confirmation code and a status URL to monitor your request if technically enabled.
Retained data: We may retain other data only if legally required (e.g., transaction history for tax compliance) and will inform you if this applies.
